i finished watching my movie and snack. played some baseball with dad. read books with mom. and now, it's 9:30, you know what that means . . .
DQ, here I come. of course, we stop to look at the ice cream cakes in the display case. hey, there's a very little cake in the case tonight.
it's for me.
oops. the cake is frozen solid. i can't cut it.
that's okay, we can take the cake home. let's have a cup of ice cream instead. have you ever tried to sip/suck ice cream that isn't all melted?
it's very fun. but, you have to have very good lung power to make it come up the straw.
editor's note: thank heaven for our miracles. erynn's lungs are fully developed and fully functioning. you'd never know she was on oxygen for 103 days waiting for her lungs to develop and be able to support her breathing. erynn can run, play, sing, shout, cry and suck a straw just like any other child.
