Jul 20 Hanging Ten Day of Under the Sea Week

i am just hanging out today.  i am going to help with work around the house.

our starfish made it out to the ocean mural.

i can get the mail with GPa and open the mailbox with the key.

GMa tells stories for my ocean puppet theater . . .

i like the starfish and the jellyfish the best.  i don't know why, i just do.

Jul 19 Fish and Pirate Day of Under the Sea Week

we are getting tired. we are going to take it easy today. let's do art projects. how about a starfish? with sandpaper.  and don't forget to wear all your tinkerbell clothes at the same time.  that helps you do a good job.

GMa it's art time.  we are going to paint and use glue.

GMa's very happy jellyfish and my lop-eyed jellyfish.

i love cow. 

and now, its time for you to walk the plank . . . argh!!

Jul 18 Train and Rain Day of Under the Sea Week

well, i didn't want to go to the aquarium.  i wanted to go to the farm with the trains.  so, we decided to go to the farm.  but first, GPa and i made a bottle fish while GMa finished up the laundry.  then GMa gave my fish a kiss.

 then, we had to stop at the marymoor train to find GPa's kite parts that we lost.  (oops.) did i mention that i love trains?  whooo, whooo, whoooo . . . .  all aboard.

we are going to have lunch at the farm. can you see me in the window?  look closer.

i'm just gonna play over here while you finish eating. 

a little slide down the slide and a little slide down the steps.

that was fun and yummy.  let's go to the sprinkler park.  i love to catch water with my two-handles cup.

i am back and i am dry.  i had dinner and now i am going to watch finding nemo.  and then, i am going to play some more.

Jul 17 - Blue (not Beach) Day of Under the Sea Week

i got up early for church.  i went to bed late.  i came home from church.  i made blue jello with marshmellows.  i took a long nap.  i don't like marshmellows in my jello. i will eat around them a little bit.

i miss daddy.  i am grumpy. did i mention it rained all day and we didn't go to the beach.  the blue jello however, was yummy.

Jul 16 - Flying Day of Under the Sea Week

well, momma didn't plan on it being flying day, but that's what it turned out to be.  i started the day with my yellow blanket flying down the hall as "batman girl".  i love batman.  then, we were off to woodinville.  who cares if it is raining; we've got places to go and things to do.

we went to cottage lake to see the fish and the fishing.  we found one fishing man.  i wanted to wait to watch him catch a fish.  i am very lucky for fishing mans.

GPa and GMa didn't want to wait.  so i had to do something to keep them entertained and on the dock.  do you like my chicken dance?

well, the fishing man didn't catch a fish yet.  so i went to the play ground to spin the gears and get put in jail.

let me out!!!!!

then a ride on the dinosaurs and the swings, of course.

fortunately for GMa and GPa, we had stopped at the library and picked up books for everyone.  i do like to swing and if you've seen me swing for 5 minutes you've seen me swing for an hour.  (sorry.)

back to GMa and GPa's house for lunch.  did i mention that GMa made strawberry jam this morning before i woke up?  it is yummy.  GMa needs a nap, but i want to go kite flying.  i am tired of not flying kites.

oh, GPa is very good at this kite flying.  maybe i can fly a kite today.

 maybe not.

i found a train park.  i will fly kites another day. do you want to come on my train?

gotta go back home for dinner and more art projects and playtime.

tada, windsocks. GMa's has red tails (that's her favorite color)  GPa's has many colors (he likes them all) and mine has blue tails (blue's my favorite color).
