Dec 6th - Christmas Tree Day

 well, actually its january because my camera broke and we didn't open our new camera presents until christmas.  so just pretend with me so that you can see my wonderful tree. 

i love frosty the snowman.  can you see him on my shirt?  i tried to put most of the snowman on the christmas tree, but i got distracted.  i opened christmas tree day presents and watched my favorite christmas movie instead.

yes, you guessed it - - - Frosty the Snowman.  whenever i hear that song on the radio in the car, i tell everyone it's my frosty song.  mommy and i have been listening to christmas music since thanksgiving.



did you know that we only have one copy of the frosty song in our house.  whichever of my cousins made the darryl mix cd for daddy a long time ago, thank you.  i could not have survived without it.  (i am still listening to it in February.)  have i told you before how comfy it is to wear your jammie pants all day long?  it is also nice and warm.

doesn't frosty just give you a warm glow all over too?

Oct 31 - Trick or Treat Pneumonia

when you have pneumonia,

you don't go trick or treating outside in the cold  

you don't put on big costumes

you don't get a lot of candy

but, you can still look very cute and spooky.  especially with lime green socks.

let us start by stretching

here we go, downward facing dog pose

a little more, extended puppy pose

now slowly release to frog pose

we will now focus on core balance with side reclining leg lifts

roll slowly to face upward and heron pose

 breathe deeply and slowly raise both legs to cow face pose

 extend your legs to happy baby pose

 and relax with legs extended to reclining bound angle

and, finally Hero Pose

Yes, just three days and erynn now uses the computer by herself.  She has "important work to do".

Aug 17 - It's Hot Here

here's a few tips for you to stay cool in this hot weather . . .

go swimming or dip your toes in cool water

take long sips of cold drinks that are yummy

wear an ice cream bucket (after you eat all the ice cream, of course)

Aug 15 - Taking Care of Daddy

gg and momma and i are taking care of daddy.  i make lots of cold ice water (to fill the polar pak) for daddy's sad knee to feel better.

i help momma lift the knee machine onto his bed everyday.  (i stand by the door so i don't get hurt.)

i read stories with daddy so he is a happy patient.

i tell momma to go away it's time for daddy to take a nap.

Aug 8 - Quality Time with Momma

i decided that momma was not getting enough attention from me.  so, i have cancelled all of my princess appointments for the day to spend some quality time with momma.  yes, that does mean that i will be queen for a day.

hey, no one told me this is what the queen did all day long. 

well, i don''t know how to whistle yet.  so, i guess its . . .
