Jun 30 - Am I Goldilocks in CA?

there are many ways to cool down on a hot summer day. one way is to stay inside and read a book in somebodyelse's crib. but, sometimes that doesn't work. so, then you try wearing a ponytail in somebodyelse's chair. but, sometimes that doesn't work. so, then you try climbing somebodyelse's steps. but, sometimes that doesn't work. so, then you try going down somebodyelse's slide.

that always works.

(just dropping you a note to let you know i am off to visit grandma gwen in california.)

erynn ride mommy next to you. daddy drive.

(mommy and i will be sitting in the backseat playing games, singing, coloring, watching movies, holding hands and napping while daddy drives the car.)

fresh fry, ice cream (yelling)

(although we are trying to be a more fit, focused and faithful family this summer, i am confident we will stop for some french fries and also for some ice cream. the only two food items i will actually put in my mouth by my own demand and hand.)

diaper check then bouncy ball

(i have found it best to listen to mommy and daddy early when they mention a diaper check. i am much happier when i have on a fresh diaper and am playing with my ball. don't you agree. here i am at my first rest area.)

diaper check then doodle then little bear

(yes, i will allow another diaper check because i will then be able to doodle afterward. and, if i am a very nice little girl, we will watch little bear movies as soon as we get back in the car. here i am doodling with daddy at my second rest area.)

(i love my aqua doodle. i can paint and i can draw. do you hear sheep?)
