in our family, when you go through a tunnel in a car, you raise your hands and say AHHHHHH until you come out the other side. a tunnel is any overhead thing such as a bridge, an upper deck of a two layer highway, a tunnel, overhanging signs, railroad tracks etcl. so, if you've ever driven from seattle, washington through portland, oregon, the rest of oregon, california and the sf bay area, you can imagine our word of the last two days has been AHHHHHHHH. we had a fairly jazzy beat going on 680 from benicia to hayward and ran out out of breath on one particular 100 yards of road.
fortunately, we found a real erynn sized tunnel near the 80 interchange in the shannon estates community just off tipperary drive and rosscommon road. we had to stop.

editor's note: part of mommy's family is from tipperary, ireland in the south and roscommon, ireland in the north which is located near the top of the shannon river.
more editor's note: that is erynn's bruise and soft tissue damage on her check from may 18th. they estimate six months before the muscle and blood vessels completely heal.
