we are sitting in the backyard under the shade of the trees. erynn has the camera and wants mommy to take her picture. however, erynn does not want to give mommy the camera. erynn continues to demand that mommy take baby picture. so, mommy grabs the camera as erynn is about to fling it. erynn gets a good grip on the camera string. what would you do? rookie mommy: erynn show me a happy face. mommy take erynn happy face picture. can erynn happy face? veteran baby: (screaming and crying and wailing) HAPPY FACE HAPPY FACE HAPPY FACE click:

Apr 27- Spendin' My Days Just Doin' Stuff

Here is a collection of random pictures from the month. We had a camera malfunction and other things going down which prevented adequate blogging for the month (according to our readership.) i am almost two. i love in and out and dump and pick up. i can dump really good. see. i play with blocks. i build trains with a mommy and a daddy on it. i can say chugga, chugga, chugga, choo, choo when i build and play with trains. i make a big train with all my blocks and then i knock the train over. oops. ooo-oooh. i like to do it. editor's note: Camera malfunction. Erynn's design asethetic is modern precarious. Wish we could have gotten the picture. The train looked like a palm tree with people blocks on the end of the fronds. i went got a new busy book with monkeys and lions and bears (no oh my.) i can zipper the monkey up the tree and down. i learning how to un-buckle the bear in the swing. very hard to do. i like to link monkeys together. i love to toss monkeys. i love monkeys.

"the guys" went on vacation from the bean box into my jello. one guy jumped into the jello and got stuck head first. sorry guy, spoon busy right now. can you see his feet, and legs and pants? i don't eat jello. i play in jello and mommy and lana try to get me to kiss the jello or kiss the guys feet. i don't kiss.

editor's note: Erynn is tasting a select number of foods. We are trying to expand her desire for food by introducing accidental food tasting such as jello on the guys' feet. Erynn's current favorite tastes are cheese puffs, shredded cheese, easy cheese, peanut butter, chocolate, crackers, cream soup and mommy's dinner. (If your gonna share it, you're gonna wear it)

i go swimming every monday. today i blew bubbles under the water and jumped into the water from a sitting position into mommy's arms. i played with my bowl and ball and boat and duck and a fish. it was very nice and very warm water. i fell asleep in the car with my blankie before i got home.

later in the day, mommy and daddy moved the computer in the office around and now i can't reach the buttons. oh, the horror and the agony . . . do you have any buttons for me to push ????? do you ?????? e

Apr 5 - Emergency Preparedness Tips

Oh, what do you do when the power goes out,

when all the world turns dark ?

erynn > lament over not letting mommy put my pants back on me.

erynn > find a la-light (flashlight).

erynn> find the nearest "123" and start pushing buttons. the power will come back soon enough and no mommy's gonna yell at you when it's scary dark inside. :)

Mar 22 - Spirals at Grandma's House

this is my grandma. she had surgery and then she broke her wrist. she has a very nice ceiling fan. i love to watch it spin and spin and spin and spin . . . . . we visit grandma and grandpa most nights to see if things are going good . . . i make momma draw spirals. they make me feel good, so it think that grandma will feel good too if she can see some spirals . . .

i already made grandpa draw spirals. we like to look at pictures of me together in his little book.

now it's daddy's turn to draw spirals. he's pretty good at it. he should be, he teaches math. he knows all about spirals. (too much about spirals :) . . .

Mar 22 - New Haircut - No Dress Up

i got a new little haircut. and it looks good on me. so, i don't get to play dress up. drats. i got sick instead. here are my new summer pajammies. they are not so warm so that i can sleep good. i felt very crummie for 2 weeks. then mommie and daddie got sick. well, at least, i look good.
