Aug 13 - Dinner Party

we ate chicken nuggets ... (mary)

and went to school and played. (erynn)

mary and kacey played in the fallen leaves ...

then we picked blackberries. (mary, kacey, erynn)

when we got home, we ate ice cream. (erynn)

Aug 11 - Dress Up Party (the remake)

over the weekend, erynn got bigger dress up clothes. (kacey) and, erynn's garage turned into a playroom. (mary)

so, we had a dress up party again. (quinn, kacey, mary, erynn)

we wore masks ... (kacey) (quinn) (darryl)

and played fairy princess (mary) (mary, kacey) (kacey, mary) (kacey) ...

while quinn and erynn blew bubbles ... (erynn, quinn)

and played star wars (quinn) ...

and played cheerleading (erynn) ...

and wore bear feet while driving the car. (erynn)

Aug 6 - Pool Party (disaster ii)

we wanted a pool party ... (kacey) but it was too cold outside. (erynn)

so we made cake and chocolate frosting ...

and silly faces ... (erynn)

and colored in books.

but the cake was too hot ... (kacey)

so we couldn't eat the cake.

Aug 4 - Dress Up Party (disaster i)

we wanted a dress up party ... (kacey) but the clothes were too small ... (kacey, erynn)

and mary was at camp gilead.

so we went to a park with a farm ... (erynn)

and played on the swings ... (kacey) (daddy, erynn)

and met a sheep and a turkey ... (kacey)

and a huge pig and a goat. (kacey, erynn)

and then mary came over later to play with the paper dress up dolls. (mary)

Jul 24 - Just for fun

kacey, mary and erynn planned play parties for the month of august. at each party we took pictures. mommy just finished making scrapbooks for kacey and mary from the parties. and, i am going to copy the scrapbooks for you.

mary is 6. i call her haley mary.

casey is 6. i call her haley casey. my cousin haley is 6, too. i just came back from playing with haley in california. we are going to have play parties in August together every week at my house.

first, we planned the parties.

then, we played in the ball-pit ...

and turned into bugs. mary is very silly.

Back to School - Back to Blogging

Well, it's more the neighborhood is back to school. We and lots of guests are back to our own homes. So, now we should be able to blog and catch back up. You'll see what I mean as the August blogs show up. So, anyway anything before this entry is before July 4th. Otherwise you may have to look back and forth through the coming blogs. I think I'll do August and then go back for July. The August blogs will be from the scrapbooks we just finished and rather easy to do. thanks. e

July 4th - Erynn Declares Independence

here's my latest and greatest news, i don't throw up all the time anymore. my tummy doesn't have to get rid of my food anymore. it's safe to love and cuddle me and play with me. i won't get your clothes messy anymore. now, i still don't like to swallow food and everything makes my mouth feel bad. and, i do still have a "strong gag reflex" but i only do a little to fix my problem instead of emptying my whole tummy. I am working on lots of eating skills but its really, really, really, really hard to like food when i keeps on making my mouth feel bad. so, please be very careful if i ask you for food and you know its going to be a problem for me. i don't know all of this stuff, so i might get cranky with you. here's a hint - - - give me choc-lick. i love choc-lick. i can always lick and melt choc-lick. just don't give me too much. a little goes a long way. we can always play ball together. i love to throw and catch and kick and roll and chase and bounce and hold balls of all sizes and colors.

here's a hint for you - be careful with very big balls, you can bounce right off the sides of them. and then you get hurt and you will need your daddy and your blankie to feel better. you could get a sore neck and that is not good.

Jul 3 - Notes to Other Toddlers

hey, what's up? or should i say upside-down? i just can't help myself. i love to hang. (Note to other toddlers: when mommy's talking, i can usually get upside down for a long stretch of time.) do you know what Aunt Teri is talking about ? green, blue, in the lines ? i just color and color some more. did you know Aunt Teri is a professional colorer ? yes, and she loves Winnie the Pooh. (note to other toddlers: i really recommend having a lot of toys out when adults get together to talk and look at you.) (cash register, racing balls, elmo, car, colors, mr. potato head, penguins) sometimes you need help with the markers and sometimes you don't. i did it. do you like my flog and my peetatoes and tinkabell ? (note to other toddlers: always keep the blankey close to you. don't let them fold it up and put it away. you need your blankey.)

anywho, big day tommorrow, lots of cameras and playing outside.

(note to other toddlers: smile and giggle as much as you can without getting sick. they love it.)

Jul 2 - Namaste

today, i went swimming. i came home and took a nap. i doodled. i played blocks with haley. no time to clean up.

i played chase with haley. i played with haley some more. i played yoga.

not everyone at gg's house can play yoga very good. namaste.
