Dec 20 White Christmas

hmmm, how can i say this in the nicest possible way? i requested piggie bank chow, not snow. i am reminded of a former halloween when i requested candy and received a very cute pumpkin. once again, the snow was very appropriate for chirstmas, but not what i requested. it started snowing and did not stop for very many days. daddy and i had cabin fever. we were going outside and no one was going to stop us. we didn't care about what silly clothes we would have to wear. i told you that it snowed, and snowed, and rained, and snowed. see, i wasn't lying. sure, it's only about five inches of snow, but when you're only 30 inches tall, that's a whole lot of snow. daddy went out to shovel the snow. i have to wrap presents and practice jingle belling. i will get dressed in more formal christmas attire tommorrow. e p.s. just got the internet fixed and hope to blog a bit to catch up.

Nov 23 - Whole Lot of Somethin' Goin' On

erynn was not going to last through sacrament meeting today. so, just before the choir sang, erynn exited to the foyer. then, she decided to start walking. a buzz went through all the church. erynn's walking. so, we came home after church and . . .

Nov 12 - Miles to Go Before I Sleep

only had a 30 minute nap today. so, late tonight i decided to go for a walk by myself i went 7 1/2 feet before i toppled over. then mommy got out the camera. and daddy did too.

and then i got too tired to walk anymore today.

Nov 5 - Wednesday Afternoons with Erynn

is the coast clear yet? has the feeding therapist left? is this how you wear a haaaaa------T? (for those of you who have heard me say hat, that's just about the right spelling for me.) well, as the saying goes, if the hat fits, wear it. okay, it's just you and me this afternoon mommy. no projects, no cleaning, no cooking, no phones, no visitors just a you and a me. so, lets sing a few songs, play some games, and take a nap. no, popcorn popping. i want pat it and roll it and mark it with a b. i wouldn't mind a little twinkle, twinkle and sing a rainbow, too. eating time is over. get me out of here. oh, no i was crawling too fast and toppled over. oh, this is so relaxing. oh mommy . . . .

you missed these two specks of dirt on the floor. oh, no the tickle giggle monster is here. lets play hide and seek with boo.

it's time for a nap. i am all tucked in and ready for my go-to-sleep-baby drive.

Oct 30 - I Don't Have a Thing to Wear . . .

Sept 24 - Erynn's in the Living Room

scene 1: mommy sets erynn down in the living room to play with her chair and piano. mommy rushes to the bathroom. erynn is in the living room. scene 2: mommy quickly returns from the bathroom. erynn . . . yes, that's the kitchen and the "tupperware" cabinet. apparently erynn is quite developmentally on track. it only took erynn 12 days to discover that she can crawl anywhere she wants to crawl. we also had to clear out the bottom two shelves of the family room bookcase. you might also note that in picture 2 she has just shuffleboarded a lid under the oven on the other side of the kitchen. mommy. p.s. the cabinet door was closed and yes, we will be installing safety locks this weekend. alas.
